What a beautiful sunny Saturday it was when my boyfriend and I decided to explore the Foodes Food and Culture Festival at the Tanger Outlets in Commerce, GA on April 5, 2025. With its vibrant atmosphere and delightful scents wafting through the air, the festival promised an adventurous culinary experience—perfect for foodies on a budget, like us.

The festival's atmosphere was lively, making it an ideal spot for fun family outings, perfect first dates, or sweet moments with your significant other. As we strolled through the festival, we were delighted to discover an overwhelmingly large amount of affordable food options that teased our taste buds. Plus, the location was spot-on, not just because of the festival, but also for the fabulous shopping opportunities available after we indulged in some delicious bites.

A Culinary Adventure Awaits

Walking into the Foodes Food and Culture Festival felt like stepping into a world brimming with flavors. Food vendors from all over showcased their culinary masterpieces. From hot dogs to Jamaican food sizzling on the grill, there was something for everyone.

My boyfriend couldn’t resist the fried shrimp and fries. They were perfectly seasoned and left our taste buds dancing and craving more even after we were so stuffed!

I ended up at a booth serving up hot dogs. Good hot dogs are hard to find, but this one was perfect. We also opted for a half bucket of fries from a third vendor because, how can you say no to fries?! For those with a sweet tooth, there were a few good options. There was this cinnamon bun vendor with massive cinnamon rolls. We didn't get one, but it caught our eye.

Perfect for Everyone

What makes the Foodes Food and Culture Festival so appealing is its versatility. Whether you are there with family, on a date, or just catching up with friends, the atmosphere is welcoming and exciting. Kids ran around with Mexican fruit cups in hand, while couples shared laughter over giant lemonades and some adult beverages. They had some fun stations for the kids too: face painting and wax hands.

Shop and Dine: The Ultimate Combo

Another bonus of the festival's location at Tanger Outlets is the chance to shop before or after indulging in your food cravings. After enjoying our time at the festival, we took a leisurely stroll to digest our food and enjoy the weather and sounds of Spring.

Did you know that Tanger Outlets is known for having some incredible deals? If you’re a savvy shopper, this is the place to snag those discounted prices on your favorite brands. We popped into a few stores and managed to grab some great clothes on sale!

While shopping can sometimes get overwhelming, the food festival provides a perfect break. You can replenish your energy with tasty bites before diving back into the retail therapy. It’s a win-win situation!
